In theory, these changes are good for you.
But you’re not feeling the way you thought you would.
Too much of a good thing is still too much. The combination of all these well-intentioned changes overwhelms your nervous system, pushing you into the danger zone and causing you to return to what’s comfortable.
You’re back at square one.
The cycle repeats itself. It gets a little more demoralizing each time, and your inner critic is having a field day.
"What’s wrong with you?" it asks.
There’s nothing wrong with you. You were brought up in a system that told you that the only way to get better was to do more, and that mindset informed your approach to self-care and personal development.
How it works
➡️ Before the session
You’ll complete the Take Care assessment, which kicks off your reflective journey. Your coach will review your results ahead of time and come to the session with targeted questions designed to help you identify what needs to shift.
➡️ During the session
The session starts with a moment of grounding. Then we’ll use your Take Care results as a jumping off point for the conversation. We’ll explore your results across the Five Dimensions of Well-being, and answer any questions you have. Through powerful questions, you’ll uncover the shift that will create the most positive impact in your well-being and create a sustainable action plan for making that shift.
➡️ After the session
Your coach will send over your action plan and any resources that might support your shift. You’ll also get a check-in email 30 days after your session for an extra dose of accountability and support.

Shift Sessions are open to anyone who wants to take a more intentional, sustainable approach to deepening their self-care and personal development.
Each session begins with a grounding moment. Then you’ll review your Take Care results with your coach, who will ask questions to help you identify what needs to shift. Together, you’ll create a plan for integrating that shift into your daily life.
At Inner Workout, we believe you are your own best expert. The coach isn’t the star of the show. You are! Expect to do most of the talking as your coach offers reflective, perspective-shifting questions. Once you’ve chosen your shift, your coach may offer relevant resources to support your journey.
Currently, Shift Sessions are one-on-one with our founder, Taylor Elyse Morrison. She is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach as well as a Certified Wayfinder Coach.
